Chapter 33: THE CULPRIT

Jefferson disengaged from the kiss and went toward the door. Though he was hard down there already. He had no choice but to suppress the feeling and go to open the door.

He never knew what his sister might have to say. Though he was a little bit unhappy that she wasn't in the pack at the time of the attack there was nothing he could do.

He opened the door only to see his sister standing at the door looking at him impatiently.

Though Jefferson was a little bit unhappy with his sister he still forced a smile at her.

Abigail, who was getting rather impatient and was about to open the door, froze when the door opened and Jefferson came out.

She could see a little bit of unhappiness in his eyes even though he smiled.

Forcing a smile she said, "Jeff, I'm sorry that I wasn't in the pack to help when the attack happened."

Jefferson hearing his sister's words smiled and shook his head.

He wondered if she had come only to apologize but he guessed she came for more than an apology.
