CHAPTER 33

ADRIAN

"My lord, we have disturbing news."

I was in a meeting with all the Alpha's of the neighboring clans. We were working on a peace treaty amongst ourselves, the werewolves. It was important to achieve this development as it took months to have it come this far. The meeting has been going on for hours, trying to sum it all down to one factor each clan was comfortable with.

My study was suddenly swung open, the noise making me look up immediately at the intruder. Every subject knew not to disturb their Alpha when I was in the middle of an important meeting. It had to be terribly urgent if Gregory acted this way. His face was slightly disturbed and his eyes looked unsure as it danced with fear. His face was white and he was terribly perspirating.
