*In the Alf pack*

He stayed silent for a while before he could turn to face me.

It seems that something has been bothering him, and it was hard before he could really talk to anybody concerning the welfare of the pack.

At that moment, he drops the glass cup that he drank his wine from, and it falls to the ground, breaking it into pieces.

It is strange. But it was too obvious that he was not really in that state of mind now.

"I want you to do this for me; I would want you to supervise some men and go to our borders. Don't do anything that would provoke the other pack; just do this for now. I am afraid something big is befalling us, and we need to act very quickly before anything happens." He did as he ordered.

"Alright, Alpha, I will do as you said," I replied.

He faced the clearing and looked out into the borders, waving for me to go on. "I will be waiting for you if you get any information," he said.

I nodded in agreement and stepped back to go do what he had ordered me to
