~3RD PERSON'S POV~

“Lady Anaya Belmont, you finally took off that mask of yours, that face you paraded around all these years. I would have said it was good to see you again if it weren't for the circumstances of our reunition.” Noah said with a stern tone as he stared blankly at Anaya.

“Follow me,” Anaya said, then turned away from him and walked into her building. Noah followed behind her. His eyes scanned through the front yard, darting from one maid to another. He followed Anaya into her living room, and they both sat on opposite couches.

Anaya called one of her maids and asked her to bring some refreshments, and a few minutes later she came back in with a bottle of wine and two tumblers.

“You must have been surprised when you found out that your plan to exterminate the Belmont family was a failure,” Anaya said, raising the tumbler to her lips.

“To tell you the truth, I was. It was such a perfect plan; I wonder what went wrong,” Noah said.
