Lunaris smiled and replied, “It’s alright. This place is just a junction inside the mansion anyway. Anyone can come in and go out as they please. In fact, you're the reason we're having a meeting here today.” “I am?” Clarabelle asked.“Yes, come sit with us,” Lunaris answered softly.Clarabelle looked around, then wiped the crumbs of cake from her mouth and walked toward the couches with her tray. She placed the tray of cake on the table in the middle of the room and sat beside Edith. “Hi, everyone,” she said nervously, forcing a smile on her face. “Is it true?” Mary asked.“What?” Clarabelle turned to her with a puzzled look.“That you're an Immortal like Edith,” Mary said with curiosity beaming in her eyes.Clarabelle looked around, and a smile slowly formed on her face.

She stopped walking and rested her fists on both sides of her waist. She, Nicole, and Mary had arrived in a large hall in the Mortimer mansion. The hall had no windows but had multiple chandeliers hanging from its ceiling, acting as its source of light. The hall was designed with black and brown flower paintings that spread on the floor and up its walls. Over 20 different passages were connected to this one hall, and those passages were also connected at different parts of the building, forming a maze-like structure.
