CHAPTER 33

**Cassie’s POV**

After the short explanation from my mother-in-law to my dad, I excuse myself and go straight upstairs. Kaiden is carefully guiding me. I can see from his face that he is being a strict husband, especially since he is taking care of two people in one body.

"You know that I will be fine here, and you can go downstairs. You must have missed your mom and dad. Share a diner with them," I said to him.

I may be his Luna. He is the one and only person with whom he shares his soul, but his word cannot just revolve around me. That there are also people around him who need him. Like his family.

"My wife thinks that I can leave her, and I can be happy downstairs. I could never think of living my happiness here." And now he is speaking from the first point of view. Cute.
