Twenty four.
Today is Mehr's graduation. They've finished their exams a month ago and they're celebrating it today at their school with the rest of the students.
Mehr was dressed in a black pants and white shirt, which was the colour code for the graduation- black and white. She looked at the mirror, placing back the huge black graduation gown and the cap.
Afnaan was wearing a palazzo pants, which was in black and white material then a white shirt on top. She hid some p-caps she did for her squad members in her bag so that they could use it during the after party that the school organized.

The whole week was so exhausting to Mehr. She couldn't sit down for an hour, she'd be called from Maa or Kydah's friends and it was annoying her. She doesn't even have time to talk to Mashkur talk less of seeing him, which was more than annoying. Afnaan was driving aimlessly in the road with no destination nor any idea about where she's going to. The awaited day was finally here, well, none of them were happy about this day nor the knot that has already been tied a few minutes ago. Mehr was beyond shattered when she heard that her Paa disapproved Mashkur. She cried her eyes and face to sleep. When she woke up, time for dinner, she felt like she was beaten black and blue.She walked to the dining table and her head was down through out the dinner even though her father tried to talk to her.She walk back to her room annoyed. Is that how her sister felt when her father arranged her marriage? That's bad even though its different.Maa knocked on her door but she didn't bother looking up or saying come in and Maa invited herself in."You need to stop crying and stop brooding. Afnaan grinned and fell on Mehr's bed to continue from where she was stopped by her alarm clock. She badly wanted to roll and drag the duvet over her face to hide her face from the sunlight and the noise sounding around the four walls in the room. She threw the thing in the floor and she has to buy a new one before she starts college.She threw a striped maxi dress, polyester fabric, crew neckline and long sleeves. The wedding was already fixed two months after the whole disapproval scenario and Mehr and Mashkur couldn't be anymore happier. The were both elated and Mehr has already started going to college which was close to where Mashkur build their house. The wedding is in two weeks and Mehr can't even sit her butt for good ten minutes without being called either by Kydah, Maa or Afnaan or her friends that seem to never leave her house. They'd come by 6:00am and they'll leave by 10:00pm much to Mehr's chagrin.Afnaan is having sleepovers here and there but she said when the wedding is a week away, then she'll just pack to there house till after the wedding is over. The days passed in a blur. Before either of them could say Taylor Swift, the days has passed already, leaving the ones that didn't finish their preparations to shame.
