The police who were astonished when they saw him inside the house that they could not penetrate got off their vehicles at once and ran towards the window and attempted to open the parlor door but could not.

“Go through the back door,” Arthur advised. Just like lightening, they were inside the house.

“What happened, Mr. Bailey? How did you get in?”

“Where is the janitor?” The two police officers asked in a mad rush.

“Come this way,” He ordered, and led them to the room where the lifeless body of Zoey was.

“What?”

They screamed. One of them brought out hand gloves from his pocket, put them on and checked her pulse. He looked at his colleague with an assuring look.

“She can make it.”

They took photographs that were vital to them, picked her and left. Then, Arthur gave Phil the car key, and advised, “Take. Drive my wife's car. Let us go.”

“That is fine, father.”
