THIRD-PERSON POV

Seven Months Later….

“Here is your soup, hot and spicy, just the way you like it” Gova giggled, dropping the tray in front of Laura.

“Stop it. You know I hate this soup” she whined, squeezing her face. The aroma from the soup always made her feel like throwing up. It had a lot of herbs in it, and Paulina insisted that she must take it every morning.

Laura was close to labor, it's her ninth month, and she could start getting contractions any minute. Since she was still very young, Paulina prepared some local herbs to help her, not forgetting frequent hospital check-ups.

“Drink up and stop complaining. You know it's for your own good” Gova said, flipping back her hair.

“Is she being stubborn again?” Ricky came out from the bathroom, wrapped in his robe.

“Yes. She won't take the soup” Gova answered and Laura glared at her.

“No worries, I'll make her take it. You can go ahead and do other things” he said and Gova nodded before sticking her tongue out at Laura and left.
