Good or bad news?

I walk through the prison yard, the stench of dampness filled my nostrils, the place was dark and the only means of light available was through the wholes on the wall some prisoners had successfully cracked hoping for a mean of escape which causes coldness especially during winter.

“My king!” My king!! ” The prison guards all rose to their feet at my appearance and did not dare look me in the eyes, their heart racing fast wondering what has brought the King down here.

“Yes Sire!” They both bowed their head and dashed out of my presence. I was directed to a private room which seems like a resting place for the prison guards that were not on duty, although there was still smell of stretches, but it was better compare to the main cells.
