I had been smiling over the first act of the play I engineered on the stage, the brutal rejection of my niece, Laura, but I never expected a different act.

This different act was a game changer; a blockbuster at it, and it couldn’t have mattered a bit to me, it not that it ruined the best of my plans.

Where did he come from? And why on earth would he choose a niece I had sworn to ruin forever?

I narrowed my eyes and took a careful look at him as he was being marked the Lycan king on the stage.

I was clad in my usual coat and hat, so I was sure no one, not even those on the stage, could see my face, while my eyes were narrowed against the young lad.

“Killian?”

I scuffed, and my eyes widened naturally as I remembered him.

“What?”

I had this feeling that I knew him from somewhere when I saw him emerge from the crowed to interrupt the show, I had set up for the entire rainbow crest.

I frowned with disgust.
