THIS AND THAT

Ash and Gabe still enjoyed laughing at Archie, even when Archie had completely changed his clothes. These two twins were still engrossed in laughing every time they locked their gazes on Archie. 

"How insolent you guys are!" Archie protested. "Laugh until you choke on your Adam's apple!" he cursed angrily. 

So at that second Ash and Gabe cleared their throats – suppressing their almost explosive laughter like before. The two of them sat up straight in their respective places, then gave all their attention to the sulking Archie. 

"Forgive us." Ash said sincerely. 

"No. You guys are really insolent." Archie dramatized his remarks. 

Without a word, Ash and Gabe threw pillows at Archie. Annoyed mixed with disgust, both of them threw another object at their best friend. Merciless, even though they had heard Archie's words of mercy.
