EPISODE FIFTY-FIVE

Oscar Lee stumped his foot angrily on the ground as he watched Emily leave without bending to their will.

Not for once did he ever imagine that it would turn out this way. He had pulled what to him was the perfect trick that would fetch him his heart's desire. For the first time, he had to agree that his daughter, Emily had become too hard to tame, and should that be the case, she is in no way useful to him.

He felt bitter and defeated.

Now his major challenge was how to discard Emily without an ounce of guilt ravaging his soul.

To Oscar Lee, he has done so much for Emily, even more than was expected of him. He acknowledges that he has not been right by her as regards her mother, Benita, but then he believed that he had done much more than any werewolf would do for a useless human child.

Hence, he felt completely betrayed by her refusal to listen to him and surrender her lover to his precious and useful daughter, Samantha, who was in the rightful position to have Don Nick to herself.
