CHAPTER 84

Warmth filled Luna's chest; sparks flew as Ashford leaned in close, his lips brushing against hers for the first time. Butterflies danced in her stomach as he captured her lips in a kiss. His lips were soft against her own; she kissed him back, her hand moving from her sides to the back of his neck. His right hand was on her chin, while his left moved to her waist and pulled her close.

Luna's eyes closed as theirs got intertwined in the kiss. All thoughts about the pack flew out of her mind, but then she thought about Adrian. A slight mistake: she was also mated to him, and kissing Ashford felt wrong. She pulled away from him, and her cheeks flared hot in embarrassment.

"I can't do this; it's wrong," she muttered.
