“Who’s he?” I swallowed my saliva.

“Mr. Fosters said he’s here in place of him,” Jane answered, and I nodded, my eyes still fixed on them.

When they reached our side, he held his hand out for a handshake and said, "Mr. Winters, good to finally meet you.” I didn’t take it; my attention was on Sierra, who was typing on her phone.

“Sierra, how are you?” I greeted Sierra, and she nodded.

"Well, shall we start the meeting? I don’t have much time,” Mr. Foster's son said, and I turned to him.

"Yes, sure, I’m Jane, Mr. Winters' PA, please follow me,” Jane answered, pointing in the direction of the meeting room. I was silently looking at him and gesturing for him to follow Jane with my eyes. He turned and looked at Sierra, who excused herself to attend to her ringing phone. He smiled before he turned to me, cleared his throat, and followed Jane. I took a deep breath as soon as they disappeared and turned to Sierra, who now walked to me as she was done with her call.
