I stand by the door of the bathroom wondering what has gotten into me, why the hell did I just miss her? I am never one to put myself in that position, but just watching her lips move as she talks. There was something sensual about it, an urge to just kiss her and I allowed that urge to consume me.

Shaking my head, I clear my throat and brush my hand on my lips wiping her lipstick off. I can still feel her lips on mine, lingering in my mind. It was a moment of weakness, a moment of vulnerability that I hadn't expected to feel.

But now, standing outside the bathroom, I can't help but feel regret. I had promised myself that I would keep my distance from Mae, that I wouldn't let my feelings get in the way. But that kiss... It was a mistake.
