The air between us grows thick with tension, and Lily's words hang heavy. I'm taken aback by her accusation, feeling a whirlwind of emotions. Guilt, confusion, and a deep sense of sadness intertwine, making it hard to breathe, let alone speak.

I never knew she liked Sin, she barely showed any signs of liking him. Not to be offensive, but she was way out of his league back then. He could only have ever seen her as his baby sister or perhaps was it a crush?

"You had a crush on him?" I ask just to be certain of what she meant by liking him.

"I liked him, if not for me you wouldn't have been so close to Sin," she rolls her eyes at me. "I was always going to speak to him, to get some sort of closure but all he ever talks about is wanting to see you."

How did I not see this? How did I miss her interest in Sin? Is that why she hates him? The thought that Lily harbors such feelings towards me, feelings that have clearly been festering for a long time, is both shocking and heart-wrenching
