The Hard Truth

"We need to talk," Diana said to Eric as he stood in front of her.

Eric's facial expression changed. He felt like he was in a courtroom waiting for his case to be dealt with.

"You don't need to be frightened, I know you know why we need to talk. But before that I need to thank your friend for saving my life" Diana walked past him in search of Phoebe.

Unfortunately, Phoebe had left without saying goodbye to them. "Wait is she gone?" she pointed at where Phoebe was sitting before she went to the room to get checked.

Andrew came closer and informed them about giving Phoebe the time off since she looked tired.

Eric didn't press on as Andrew expected which took him by surprise but didn't think it was right for him to ask questions.

"That is so unfortunate, I wanted to thank her personally, she did save my life and I wanted to ask her if she needed anything for I would gladly offer," Diana said with a disappointed look on her face.
