CHAPTER 24 The Date

　　She was shocked to hear him say that, but then, she scoffed, remembering what he had said earlier.

　　"You don't mean it, do you? You're only saying it so I won't feel nervous and—"

　　"No. You look ravishing tonight," he said, using his other hand to move her head to look at him.

　　"You have no reason to be anxious or nervous, my parents are easygoing people, and they're going to be nice to you, besides, we already practiced every possible question they might ask us. So, it's fine, okay?" He said and squeezed her hand again.

　　For some reason she didn't understand, she felt better and calmer, she smiled at him as his technique worked, and he released her hand and looked away.

　　"Thank you," she simply muttered, but he didn't say anything in return.

　　Autumn took note of the fact that he had a nice side to him, and he was sweet when he wanted to.
