As he got into his car, he suddenly started to feel pains from the slap and the spot was very warm, swollen and red.

He got to the GP’s office where the wound was dressed and minor surgery was carried out to stitch the cut. A butterfly bandage was put on the stitched spot and he was given some medications to clear the redness in his eye, relieve pains, and stop the bleeding but was advised to eat before taking the drugs. An ointment was applied to his face to clear the fingerprints and swelling and he was told it would clear up within 30 minutes.

Kirklin stopped by a drive-through eatery and bought a meal so he could eat and take the medication.

As soon as he got to his office car park, he ate a little meal just so he could take the drugs. He had a loss of appetite due to all that had been happening to him since the previous night.
