“Jealous?”

“Joana, how can you think that?” I almost yelled. I would genuinely be happy for her, why would I feel jealous? I knew the decision I made, and I stood for it.

I knew it was for the betterment of my kingdom and my position, I didn't do it for love. So why would I be jealous that my best friend was getting married for love? I mean, I was happy she wasn't pushed or forced to marry for another reason like I was.

“I'm sorry, Georgi but I just… I don't know… I pity for you,” she looked me in the eyes, tears settling at the side of her eyes,

“Hey! Hey! Don't you dare let that teardrop,” I threatened. Joana is just too emotional, she cries at every little thing.

At my words, she blinked her eyes forcefully, making sure the tears dropped. My face turned cold as I eyed her, she blinked at me innocently and we both burst into laughter.

“You idiat!” I caused as I laughed. She did that on purpose. She could have easily blinked the tears away, but she didn't.
