When we got to the stable, I was smiling like a clown as I watched him go check on the horse. He seems to have noticed that I wasn't telling the truth about the horse being in labor right from time.

"I think she lost the baby," I pressed my lips together when he didn't stop staring at me. He shook his head before saying,

"The horse wasn't pregnant, my queen. It's male,"

I bit my tongue and chuckled, walking over to where he stood beside the horse, I asked,

"You know that very well, why did you come along with me?"

His fingers were caressing the horse and I wished for a moment there if I could be that horse. He didn't reply to my question for a while. I watched him keenly before saying again,

"Godfrey,"

"My queen, can we not do this? I am not interested. I don't even like you,"

"Lies!" I spat out. My eyes shot daggers at him as I reminded him,

"It was this same place that you confessed not being able to stop thinking about me. I know you like me, Godfrey. I know it." My hand found
