Chapter 55

What Chris said made Dave steam up. Instead of getting inside his car, he walked to where Chris is.

His eyes are exploding in a piercing stare. "I just want to tell her something. But since you're here, you better say--"

“You don’t need to say it." Chris cut Dave in.

Exchanging glare with Dave, he continued. "I think I know what you want to tell her. Or should I say, you've been wanting to tell her?"

Dave gulped in sudden uneasiness, he's waiting for him to speak again. 

"Don't play hide and seek with me. I'm good at hunting my prey." Chris gave Dave an insulting smirk. "That's what you want to tell her. Am I right?"
