Shawn is alive

“what's going on Loretta.." Wave asked me calmly.

I shrugged.

“Nothing, I'm just going to go home and snuggle under my pillow." I lied.

He parked in the drive way of my house.

“Thank you." I told him trying my best to plaster a smile on my face.

His intelligent eyes watched me closely, I could tell he almost guessed the game I was trying to play and any slight movement in my body language would give me away.

“Good bye, it was lovely In Italy." I said rushing out of his car before a twitch of my eyebrow would send him the message.

Without looking back, I squared my shoulders and walked into my house, I stood behind the curtains watching Wave's car back out of the driveway, I left the window when I saw that he had gone and I went to my garage and drove out.

I drove straight to the hospital, my hands were crossed as I steered my way into the parking lot of the hospital. Let it be negative, was my prayer.

I climbed down and nervously went inside, I had never done a pregnancy test before
