CHAPTER 20 – I AM WATCHING YOU FROM A FAR
After all day ordeals both physical and mental, Dexter has able to have a peace of mind at home with his family. For most of us, family is our comfort zone, our hiding place, family is everything to us. Dexter simply wants to be with his family, after all those nasty things that have happened on his life. He wants to be with his mother and younger sister, he wants to see them in good health, in good living condition.
That night they eat dinner together happily, they have spent long time in the dining table, because, most of the time, his mother asked him, to tell them, what really happened with him in the forest. They are still amazed, with his story, that a beautiful young lady, in the name of Shayne, save his life, and take good care of him, while he is still sick and weak. They want to hear, how she looks like, what she wears or what kind of dress she had and the house she used

Joana who is sweeping the yard from the fallen dried leaves, she happened to see Dexter, who is with the birds, with the flock of birds, who are very close to Dexter, and giving him, some forest fruits. MY GIRLFRIEND IS A FAIRY CHAPTER 24 – WE CAN ALWAYS DO SOMETHING EVEN IN THE FACE OF WORST SITUATION
When the woman, who performs the ceremony to cast the evil spirit had left, Dexter can still smell the scent of incense she had used, outside and inside their house Dexter notices that his mother is putting something wrap in a small plastic bag in the corners of their house, while saying some sort of incantation, possible taught by the woman who performs the rituals, a while ago. He did not contradict nor object to what his mother is doing. It is so hard for a son, to tell his mother who is older, than him, to stop, what she is doing, she will not listen. Every morning the birds come to the tree near the house of Dexter, the people have learned it and they come to see, the wonderful view, the group of birds, coming from the forest, giving wild fruits to Dexter. The fruits contain wide variety of wild berries and some other small fruits, that the birds can carry on their beaks. The birds are also of different sizes and colors. It becomes an spectacle view near the house of Dexter, having different types of birds gathered every morning. Some, used to take a video of it, while some , simply watch and enjoy the show. “How you able to tame those birds” they commonly asked him. “I don’t know, what I know, when I am in the forest, Shayne introduces them to me” he replies

The news that Dexter can heal a broken limb, spread like a wild fire in the community. It becomes the talk of the people. They have exaggerated what he has done to his nephew Ralph. Some said, the ankle of the boy is totally broken, is very much swollen but Dexter able to heal in three hours only. They even talk, that Dexter, has made the birds, come to him every morning, as if he has able to talk to them, and they obey him, as their master. They concluded that Dexter has gain extra-ordinary power, the reason why he can make miracle, because he has lived with the enchanter for three years, and he has gained some power from her. That night, after dinner, Dexter is again on his favorite hung out, the shade of mango tree, he is sat down, in the bench located there. He contemplating what have happened and what he has done, that he himself, is also surprise, he can do that, healing

Dexter don’t know what to do in the face of a new problem, to cast away evil spirit in a particular person. He has not done it before; he does not know how to do it. These people are all insane: thinking that he can do everything they wish him to do. The weather condition becomes erratic and totally unpredictable, the sunny days, was suddenly interrupted by torrential rains that covers the slopes of the mountain, thereby concealing the picturesque view, from the onlookers. The serene and peaceful mountain sides and surrounding areas covered by tall towering tress and the lush of vegetation, was suddenly devoured by the harsh weather condition, without warning. The localized thunder storm, had done its worst into a nightmare. Pathways in the forest, was gone and hard to trace, radio transmission was made impossible, UHF and VHC radio transceiver were useless. A small group of mountain hikers, composed of ten people, most are college student taking up BS Forestry including their professor, in a nearby university, was caught, flat footed, in a worst weather condition, no one of them had ever imagine in their wildest dreams
