CHAPTER 64: WORTHLESS.

“It has been so long since we left Orange County, I miss that place,” Sammy said as he slummed himself in the chair with a glass of wine in his hand.

His aunt Sarah was crocheting, and she didn't even spare him a glance.

“I wonder what she is doing. What becomes of her, now that her dad….” Sammy said.

His aunt turned and locked on him, glaring hard at him.

“After all that happened, you are still thinking of her?” she inquired.

Sammy smiled, “I find no wrong in doing so,” he said as he swirled the glass of wine in his hand.

Sarah scoffed then continued crocheting, she lacked words to tell him and probably wondered what had just become of him.

After dinner, Sarah requested a talk with her nephew.

“What is it, aunt? What is bothering you?” Sammy asked as he pulled the chair next to her.

She sighed softly then, “Son, I know that you still love her. I am not objecting to it, but what will you benefit by breaking her marriage? She is married right now, you need to move on with your life
