"Why did you drink so much?" Grayson asks after Matthew tells him he found Kian in the bar.
"I wanted to forget," mumbles Kian, scratching his head. "Drowning in toxic chemicals is the only way to appease my sorrow,"
Grayson frowns at the bruises on his cheeks from the fight. He waits for Kian to sit on the bed and looks at his puffy eyes. "Where were you heading?" he whispers.
"I don't know," Kian shrugs, "I didn't choose a destination yet. I only needed to leave home first,"
"Why?" Grayson lifts a brow, "Why would you leave in the first place? Your family is here!"
Kian sighs and tries to stand up, but dizziness wins over him, and he almost falls back on the bed when Grayson catches his wrists and puts him back to place. "That's because my family is here," Kian whispers, "I can't show them my face anymore. I'm a criminal, Grayson. I'm not worthy of their love,"
Matthew, who wishes he could hear their whispers, approaches them and squ
Kian waits in Grayson's black Maserati while the bodyguard calls his friends to tell them he found him. He comforts William and promises he'll bring his brother back the next day. After that, Grayson makes another call to the chairman, this time. He asks him if he can take two days off, and Sebastian doesn't hesitate to agree as the head of the bodyguards did a lot for his family during the last weeks. When he enters the car, Kian presses his lips nervously and looks at him. "Where are we going? Are you not driving me back home?" "If you wish to, I will," says Grayson, "But I'd like you to spend the day with me," he looks at his beautiful eyes and sighs, "I think we need some time alone," Grayson is right; everything that happened turned their days overwhelming and stressful. Because of mental instability, Kian made a quick decision and was ready to leave his whole life behind. What they need now is to take some time to think and organise their thoughts.
Kian wakes up six hours after when the sun is ready to rise. He washes his face and brushes his teeth before heading outside. He widens his eyes at the beautiful landscape. He couldn't see it yesterday night as it was already dark when they arrived. A touch of orange gives the sky a fiery appearance, like fire burning everything on its way. Kian shivers as his feet brush the cold grass that's starting to lose its green colour as winter is approaching. It's chilly outside, but in no way he would like to miss this beautiful morning spectacle. He stands in front of the lake and watches its transparent water transform into a painting, an abstract of orange, blue and dark pink. Grayson surprises him by covering his shoulders with a blanket. Kian smiles at him, and both watch the sunrise together. They don't need to exchange words. For now, they only enjoy each other's presence. If not for Grayson, Kian doesn't know where he might have spent the night. He packed a lot

It's been two months since the police arrested their enemies, and now is the time for their judgement.Travis looks nothing like he was a few months ago. He replaced the designer suits with a simple sweater and jogging trousers. His blond hair is now longer, and he looks like he didn't shave for days. As for Ben and Lydia, they have dark circles under their eyes. They almost pass as zombies.Olivia is also present in court, and she's sitting in the back of the r
When they arrive at the mansion, Harvey rushes inside to look for Eden. He finds him in the kitchen, preparing some snacks for Leo. He comes from behind and hugs him tight, inhaling his cologne. The maids share a startled look and hurry outside to leave them some privacy. "Love," Eden chuckles, "You scared the maids," he turns around and takes him in his arms, "I'm so happy today," he rubs his back gently and kisses the back of his neck, "We finally got rid of those fuckers," "I know," Harvey sighs and separates from him to look at his eyes, "You should have seen their faces when the judge announced their sentence," he chuckles. "They got what they deserve," Eden smiles and kisses his cheek, "Say, was Olivia in court?"
Grayson and Kian meet in front of the residential complex to help Harvey and Eden with their moving. The truck arrives, and they start carrying the boxes inside the building. Kian is doing a lot better now after he and Grayson came back from the mountain escapade. He spent the last two months applying for jobs, doing a few online coursed to boost his resume and working out. He also accompanied his mum to all her chemotherapy sessions to catch up with the lost time. She's been cooking him his favourite dishes, and he thankfully gained weight, looking more healthy now.Grayson sees Kian carrying two boxes at the same time and chuckles as he follows him to the elevator, "It looks like you're back to our old self," he whistles, looking at the showing veins on his arms, "You can even carry me now,""Easy," Kian smirks, "I worked out every day since I came back home.""I can see that," Grayson smiles, "And sorry I couldn't meet you a lot lately. Kian and Grayson drive Leo to school during the afternoon and head somewhere just the two of them to celebrate their first day as a couple. Eden and Harvey stay alone in their penthouse, unboxing the rest of the boxes and hanging all their clothes in the dressing room. The penthouse is at the top of the building, with windows overlooking the capital. They're excited to see how the panoramic view would look at night with all the lights."I think we're almost done," says Harvey, pushing the empty boxes next to the entrance door. "We just need to call the electrician later to install all the lights and devices.""Yeah, that's good," Eden finishes putting the plates and glasses from lunch in the dishwasher. When he leaves the kitchen, he finds his boyfriend flapping hi
Eden leaves work at five in the evening to pick up Leo from school. It's a Friday night, and there's traffic on the road. He regrets taking the car instead of walking. Everyone left work at the same time and headed home or met some friends or a lover. The festivities are also approaching, and everyone is rushing to buy presents and lights to decorate their homes.Eden dials Harvey's number and waits for him to pick up the call."Eden? Are you coming now?"Harvey's voice sounds inside the car, and Eden can't help smiling."Still not. There's traffic. But I guess we'll be there in about fifteen minutes," Eden looks at the watch, "Are you done with everything?"
One year later Harvey's legs start shaking as the staff position the cameras in front of him. He nervously rubs his hands and presses his lips as he waits for the interviewer to start. He looks around and sees his boyfriend watching him from the corner of the studio. Eden smiles at him and gives him an encouraging nod. A famous magazine for famous entrepreneurs called Harvey last week to interview him about the success of Life Reset. They also have a YouTube channel, and therefore will upload the video of the interview too. In less than a year, Life Reset has known success nationally and internationally. The app is now among the trendiest worldwide, especially for teenagers and young adults dealing with loneliness and depression.
