Chapter 38 | Hospital Room
Eden groans as the effect of the anaesthetic start to fade. It feels like a sword is piercing his lower abdomen. He slowly opens his eyes and realises his hand is attached to a device. He looks around, and, little by little, he understands he's in a hospital room. But it doesn't look like the regular room he's used to seeing. No, this one is fancier.
Eden closes his eyes again and tries to remember the reason why he's in the hospital. Flashes of him dancing with Harvey last night surge in his mind. He could never forget the way he was smiling at him, not giving a damn about the crowd. Then, Harvey went to have a drink after he stopped him from accepting one from a stranger.
Harvey asked to go to the bathroom, and he waited for him. Next, he went to help a girl that was being harassed by some drunk men.
