[JUSTIN’S POV]

With mother’s connections, she could indeed find many good men to introduce to Margarette.

For some reason, the thought about how Margarette would marry another man and how her obedient and charming ways would be monopolized by another man, made me instantly felt a little suffocated.

I have to admit that even though the two of us would eventually divorce, I still couldn’t bring myself to let any other guy have her that easily. It still feels like giving away a copy of Regina to someone else.

Damn this possessiveness for acting up once more. And yet, I simply turn my back on mother, refusing to further escalate our argument, “I’m too tired for this, i’m heading up.” I quickly head my feet upstairs to see Margarette in her room, completely ignoring my mother’s continuous rants.
