CHAPTER FORTY-ONE

I went with Henry to pick up my parents. My heart is so happy that I miss them. We only waited a moment and they arrived.

“Mom!” I waved and called them. They smiled sweetly when they saw me. They walked fast to where we were.

“I missed you, darling!” They said and hugged me. She grabbed my deflated stomach. “How are you there, grandchildren?” She asked. She looked at Henry with a smile and greeted hello too. So are my brothers and Dad.

The conversation did not stop when we were inside the car. It's no wonder that Mom is talkative every so often. Since it was lunchtime, we decided to eat at a nearby restaurant before heading home. With the amount of food we ordered, we were all full, so we rested for a while.

“Love, I'm just in the restroom.” I say goodbye to Henry. His gaze turned to me, who was happily talking to my father and brother.

“Come with me, Love.” He answered. I snorted for a moment.
