“After we land on the ground and you can honestly tell me you didn’t have fun, then yes, I give you permission to kill me, Lu.” I chuckled as I held her shaking, clammy hands.
“I can’t do this. No way. I’m a scaredy cat!” she said as she squeezed my hands back.
