The next morning, Elena awoke to the sound of noises coming from the apartment's bathroom. It took her a few seconds to acclimate to the surroundings.

The brightness of Sin City fell upon her through the large windows.

Elena was lying naked on a soft layer of white comforters, slightly warmed and illuminated by the sunlight. Urban sounds were familiar to her, but in that part of the city, they seemed more intense.
