"I am wrong?"

"Your life may have been perfect all along, but mine was shit," Elena snapped, not caring how loud she was speaking.

"All girls like you say the same. What was your biggest problem, princess? Not getting a convertible at eighteen?"

"Yes, Aaron. And do you want to know more? I did not get an apartment at nineteen either."

Elena was not the type of woman to put herself in the position of a victim. She hated being pitied. So, at that moment, the only thing she wanted to do was run out of the room.

Only away from Aaron would she have the peace she needed to clear her troubled thoughts.

The beautiful woman began to walk in long strides towards the door, but she was stopped before she could make it. Aaron caught up with her, and pushed her body against the panoramic glass none too gently.
