CHAPTER 104 STEP DOWN

Aiva's POV

"I said I'm going to step down from my position as the Alpha." He repeated what I heard before.

I stared at him in disbelief, was he pulling my legs or was this for real? There's no way he would be thinking of doing something like that just because they won't respect me.

"Come on tough Alpha. There's no way you're serious about this whole thing right?" I said laughing it off.

He shook his head, "I'm not joking about this Aiva. I've made up my mind so don't think too much about it."

"Are you out of your fucking mind? I shouldn't think about what? The fact that you're about to leave your life because of me? Do you think I'll be happy if you quit?" I fired at him.

He didn't even flinch like his fucking mind was made up and I couldn't believe it. This was the same tough Alpha who would kill without looking back. The same person I've known as my boss for a long time and only had bad rumors about him.

How could he give up so easily just because of me? I can't let that happe
