Aiva's POVI'm training hard again for the competition. I advanced to the next level and I'm allowed to the competition website now. I can see who I'm going to be paired with next. I heard the judges are evaluating the performance and pairing up the next people. There's other prizes to be with which is why a lot of people are interested, aside from the main prize. The main prize is something we don't know until the last day but the winner usually gets other prizes too. Some get big titles in packs and many other mouth watering offers. Not to mention competing in a much bigger competition. I'm not sure if I'm going to be fit for that level though. It's hard fighting strong werewolves from all over the world. Everyone kept staring at me when I opened my locker. It's crazy how they all don't seem to be talking shit behind my back anymore. Though some are still thinking I won just by luck, I am glad they're thinking of me. "Hi Aiva." I heard a familiar voice say. I closed my locker a
Aiva's POVThis is a typical behavior for Cassie. I'm guessing something happened in the pack and she's trying to blame me for it. I crossed my arm, letting out a frustrated sigh. Jasper just stared at her in awe. "You're amazing Cassie. Your pack is doomed because of me? I'm not even the Luna yet. How's that possible?" I questioned her. She scoffed, "You're not the Luna yet but you won't even get a chance to become one thanks to the people dying because of you."I uncrossed my arm in shock, I stood up to face her properly. "What did you just say? Who died because of me?" She sneered, "Don't act like you don't know. In our pack, even rogues are welcome as long as they are not evil. The rough lower ranked wolves have been disappearing and found dead with the same damn message!" Jasper stood up, seeing the seriousness in Cassie's statement. "They've been arriving dead with the same message? And what does it say?" "BRING ME AIVA'S BLOOD AND I'LL STOP." Cassie relayed in the most cre
Leo's POVI arrived at the house on my bike and saw Jasper going after Cassie. I shook my head, but then I wondered how Cassie managed to get in here when I instructed them not to let her in again. Did Jasper bring her here? What are they even doing right now?I ignored them and went in the direction of the garden since that's where they came from. I guessed Aiva must be in the garden if they're coming from there. I'm so stressed out right now that I just want to see her. I can't believe what's happening in my pack. People getting killed and some bastard is trying to pin them on Aiva. I don't know if she heard but I want to assure her it's not her fault and she doesn't have to think about it. But when I got behind her, I heard her arguing with someone on the phone. "Who are you talking to Aiva?" I asked and she turned around swiftly, her face pale from shock. The last time I heard her arguing with someone on the phone, she told me it was someone from school. But I just heard her ta
Aiva's POV I finally logged in to the official website and saw the person I was paired with. This is a male student who everyone knows to be very powerful. Sometimes, I feel like they're always doing this on purpose to get me out of the competition. Pairing me with people who are way beyond me. Then again, this is a completion so something like this is expected. I woke up early to get on my training since the match will be tomorrow. It was hard for me to fall asleep. Leo and I talked about the masked man yesterday. It was scary at first that I had to find him myself but then I had people to protect. I don't know if he's trying to be fake but I know his scent. I shouldn't have hidden it from Leo. He got so mad yesterday. I'm not hiding things from him again for sure. I went back to the house after my morning training to prepare for the academy. "Do you need to go today? Don't you just want to stay home and rest?" Leo asked, seeing me prepare for school. I shook my head, "If I sit
Aiva's POVLeo took me back home. We didn't say much to each other until we got home. I kept wondering the whole time if he saw me talking to Caleb. As much as I don't like Caleb, I'd rather not be the cause of trouble all the time. "What were you talking about with Caleb earlier?" He suddenly asked as we got home. "What?""I saw you talking to Caleb. I decided not to interrupt just to see what would happen." He calmly told me. I didn't know he actually saw us and didn't approach until Caleb left. Why is he so calm about this? Could it be that he's planning so many things? I don't know what the plan is but I am very sure I don't want him killing anyone because of me. "You know how he always is and how he tries to bother me every time you don't have to take him seriously. I already put him in his place." I told Leo but he wasn't having it. "Was it trying to convince you to leave me again? Just tell me the truth." I nodded, "yes, he was indeed convincing me to leave you but you k
Aiva's POVThe loud cheers and the staring eyes as I got to the venue. Just like before, I'm going to ignore every one of them and focus on winning. I'm not fighting to kill anyone but fighting to survive and I have to do whatever it takes to survive. That's what I think. I walked to the backstage to change. Most of the contestants were staring at me and saying all sorts of things. I just acted like I couldn't hear any of what they were saying. "She's not going to win against Chris this time." "Exactly. She only won by pure luck the last time. It was an omega, what did you expect?""Didn't you see her moves? Do you think those are amateur moves for an omega?""I support him in this. I don't think it was luck. I think she was just restraining herself.""Even if she does all out this time around, she can't win.""Yeah. Chris is not an easy one. You never know what he's going to do. He easily knocks out his opponents.""Still, I don't think you all should underestimate her. You never
Leo's POV"Give me a minute to help you." I told her, trying to get the stuff on her system out by digging it out with my claws. She groaned in pain while the stuff came out of her blood, it was a dark amount of blood till the real blood took over. I finally let her rest by gently placing her on the floor. "You're so naive. You think I'm just doing this because of my jealousy. This isn't the first time I'm seeing something like this." I told her. I felt annoyed watching her get dizzy because she had to hold hands with that idiot. This is not the first time something like this is happening. A lot of the contestants always look for an easier way to get out of their situation by making their opponents weaker than them. I've always seen things like these but I only attend to the ones brought to me. I see them drug each other but act like I didn't see anything. I was going to act like I also didn't see anything this time around if they didn't mess with my girlfriend. I kept my eyes on
Aiva's POVI won!I didn't think it would be this easy but I won once again. I was flustered to hear everyone chanting my name. No one has ever cared about my existence before and now everyone in this place are all cheering for me. I can't believe this is happening to me. I bowed and walked out of the stage. When I looked at Leo, he gave me thumbs up and I was happy. I walked to the backstage to change. I can't believe I almost lost that thanks to the idiot who took it upon himself to bother me. I thought he was just being nice and weird. I honestly didn't expect him to use such outdated tricks on me. Why would he try something like that with me when I've done nothing wrong. What a weirdo. If Leo didn't come for me, I would probably be lying in my grave now thanks to that fool. I don't know if he was sent or this is just a normal thing for him to do but I'm glad I gave him a taste of his own medicine. "Wow! Aiva! I can't believe you kicked that guy so easily. I'm impressed by ever
