Day one of the dare

I turned around swiftly to see Jacob walking towards me. He looked tired and excited at the same time. He sat in front of me and looked around, searching to see if Bo had followed him.

Relief freed some muscles in his face and he relaxed.

“You left me!." He said accusingly.

“Bo is a sweet girl and she really likes you. I wanted to give the both of you some space." I said.

He snorted and picked up some fries from my plate without asking me.

He ate them quietly, then he dipped the last one in ketchup.

I watched him.

I was not going to lie, I watched him with sheer admiration. The way his features came together and stood out, it was simply eyes, nose and mouth and yet, its combination was breathtaking.
