Heart Break

The car drives out of the compound and I watch Gabriel walk into his entry, not turning back even once.

My vision got blurry, but eagerly, I cleaned the tears away from my eyes still waiting to see if he would turn, even though to take a peek at the car leaving, the security door opens and he passes through, immediately it shuts, I felt my heart snap from its place and drop into my guts.
