It was late in the evening, but Emma was still at Liam's house. She couldn't return to her mansion because it would only remind her of her children.

“Don't you feel sleepy?” Liam asked as he sat beside her.

“No,” Emma muttered and rested her head on his shoulder.

“Do you want a television show?” Liam asked, trying to keep her busy with something. He didn't want her mind to be constantly on her children.

“No, I'm not in the mood for any shows or cartoons. If I see something that my children loved watching, then I would get more emotional and depressed,” Emma responded and snuggled her cheek on his shoulder. “Thanks for asking, though,”

“You don't have to thank me every time I do something. I do it because I love you. I don't need constant appreciation,” Liam said with a loving smile on his lips.
