Chapter 133

The fire started in one of the prison cells, set ablaze by the warden who was colluding with the gang. Meanwhile, orchestrated fights broke out to divert the attention of other wardens.

The warden, who was supposed to help them escape, came and unlocked the prison door for them.

As the fire spread, some of the other wardens had no other choice but to open the cell doors to prevent the criminals from suffocating.

Seizing the opportunity amidst the chaos, Alex, and his accomplices rushed out of the cell. They got to the fence where they were supposed to jump over and smiles brimmed on their faces.

“I'll go first,” Dimitrus said, and began climbing the fence. The guards that used to be around were also distracted because of the fire.

“Go faster, you follow!” the warden urged, pointing at Alex.

The others who were supposed to escape joined them and Alex knew that their escape could get jeopardized. He quickly got close to the iron-made fence and fixed his fingers into the holes.
