Chapter 13

Liam felt heartbroken and dejected. He didn't expect her to reject him so soon and directly, she looked so emotionless about it.

Liam wondered what he had done to make her react that way. He thought that everything was going well between them, but now, every nice thought he had has crumbled before his face.

Last night, he researched the best restaurant where he could take her to. He had been thinking of how to approach her, acting in the bathroom like a teenager in love.

All his efforts and nervousness were for nothing. She still walked away and unfortunately, there was nothing he could do about it.

He couldn't force her to like him, it was his fault for falling in love at first sight. She had no blame for his disappointment.

Taking a deep breath, he loosened his tie like it was suffocating him. He walked away from that spot and went to his office.
