Skyler woke up after getting kicked off the bed.

He hit his head heavily against something when he landed on the ground. The blow was so painful that he instantly woke up.

Skyler rubbed the back of his head as he opened his eyes with a gloomy expression on his face. He then got up from the ground.

After that, he caught sight of Jocelyn, who was staring at him with a hateful expression on her face. Her eyes were teary and red-rimmed.

Skyler felt the urge to murder someone early in the morning. “Jocelyn White, are you out of your mind?”

He did not expect this woman to repay his act of kindness by kicking him off the bed after he just rescued her last night!
