After speaking, Skyler got up and left.

Jocelyn’s gaze flashed as she watched his silhouette.

She found it hard to understand Skyler. However, regardless of everything, she just had to do her own job well.

After going upstairs, Skyler stood before the floor-to-ceiling windows of his bedroom.

He took out a mint slowly and popped it in his mouth. He rubbed the center of his brows in irritation as he watched the city lights light up.

Suddenly, he regretted bringing the cat home. However, he could not go against his words and sent it away now.

His relationship with Jocelyn White should not be like this. It seemed like something was beyond his control right now.

Skyler cast his heavy gaze outside the window. He dialed Yale’s number. “I’ll head over to Cloud City personally to view the project over there tomorrow!”

Yale was slightly shocked. “President Moore, didn’t you say that you’d ask Vice President Shaw to head over instead?”

Skyler spoke up in a heavy tone, “T
