Garrick's POV

I sit here on the edge of his bed looking down at him as he sleeps.

I'm so thankful the scent blocker worked. I was able to slip right past patrol without them even knowing.

I look down at my beautiful mate as he sleeps, goddess he's so beautiful!

He looks so peaceful, more peaceful than he ever did with me.

I let my eyes rake over his features. This is the first time I've really paid attention to him. The first time I've really looked at his face and all his features.
