Chapter 134 Cain

Cain's POV

On the way there the driver kept glancing back. I could see how scared he was.

He grunts then whimpers as he crunches forward and grabs his chest.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"He's my alpha, I feel him fading. I feel his tether to me breaking. The strands are snapping quick."

He says as tears run down his face and he whimpers again. I looked to the guy in the passenger seat and he's not reacting the same way.

"Is he not your Alpha?"

"No Reid is. We're not from the same pack him and I."

He says which now makes sense why he's not reacting like the driver is. I suddenly wish the other guy was driving instead.

Just like an alpha can feel when they're pacc members are near death and dying, those same pack members can feel when they're alpha is seriously injured and slipping away.
