Thaddeus's POV

"Don't worry sweetheart, we're heading back this afternoon, the men have already started packing up. I have one more scouting team that still hasn't come back yet."

I said to my very concerned mate.

"Thank goddess, I miss you!" He said.

"I miss you too sweetie. How are the pills working? No sign of heat right?"

"Nope, they're working like a charm!"

"That's good, if everything goes smoothly I should be home this evening around dinner time or maybe a little after."

"You're not going back over there again are you?"

"Yes my love, I need to take one more pass by his territory myself before I head home."

"I really wish you wouldn't, can't you just settle for what the scouts have seen already? I mean you've already got somebody over there right now!"

"I know my love, but they were checking out the east end of the territory, that's the furthest end which is why it's taking them a while to get back. I'm heading out of here in 15 minutes. I wanted to give you a call before I left.
