39 (Another treatment session)

Roberto finished his meal and stood up from the dining table. He headed to the hallway, and when he was about to enter his room, he remembered Vincenzo. He heaved a sigh and walked to his room. His men bowed their heads as he walked past them. They dared not look at his face.

“Come with me,” He said to one of his guards, and he followed behind him immediately.

He got to Vincenzo’s door and stood about two meters away from the door so that his guard could get it.

His guard opened the door without walking, and Roberto walked in to see Vincenzo and Martina sitting on the bed. Her hand was on his forehead, and his eyes were closed. They seemed more comfortable than usual.

Vincenzo stood up after seeing him walk into the room, and he slightly lowered his head.

“What is going on here?” His eyes moved from one person to the other.

“Martina is checking up on me, Mr. Roberto. I think I have a fever.” Vincenzo told.

“Yes, Roberto. He should visit the hospital as soon as possible.” M
