Maeve POV

I breathed out heavily, covered in sweat, as I watched my pup cry out loudly. It was the middle of the night, and the past few weeks have been peaceful. A week after I became Luna, they put me on bed rest as my stomach got bigger and I was physically weak to do anything, so it had to stay on bed rest. Earlier in the morning, my water broke when I went to pee, but I had no idea. I thought I had too much to drink because I had been drinking a lot of liquid.

We were sleeping, and I suddenly felt that pain, and it has all happened so fast. Ario gave a room to Brandon temporarily in our quarters, so he helped me to the pack hospital. Ario and Pa were panicking while I was trying not to lash out at them. But finally, I smiled happily with tears in my eyes as Brandon carried my pup in his arms.
