Chapter 12: Argument with Him

I went to the farthest corner of the kitchen and pulled out the item that I've been wrangling with in an effort to gain a grip on it. I was unable to remove it since Zamir's eyes were frequently on me, and even when he wasn't present, a certain bodyguard continued to accompany me wherever I went. This made it impossible for me to remove it.

I am unsure of exactly where Zamir and his men were, but when I went to the garden, there was no one there manning the watchtower. It is likely that he left early this morning while the others were occupied with their meeting. On the other side, I pulled out my phone, and to my dismay, there was no service in the area where I was currently standing.

In light of the fact that the entire estate gave off the impression of being haunted, I am certain that no one will notice that I am there. I raised my hand and frantically sought to find a signal till it climbed up to two bars before giving up.
