Chapter Thirteen

EVELEEN'S POV

     My sleep broke early today. I was ceaselessly glaring out of the window. Balustrade was touching from roof to floor now, giving it the full look of cage. I had attempted to jump from it, indeed I threatened him to jump from it. My husband made it prisoner for me. Now it was giving me the proper feeling of a cage.

         I put my feet on the floor. I swiveled to see him. He wasn't here nor my note. I thought it would blow up with wind. I hopefully peeped under bed, it wasn't there. That indicated that he had gotten my note. Door creaked open. He stepped in the room. He was looking handsome in a cream suit and coffee color shirt, a Rolex watch was gleaming on his wrist.
