Gabriel

Rosa had been quiet the past few days and she said little about her plans for winter break. A car was picking me up in the morning. Rosa’s family was sending a car midafternoon.

We hadn’t been separated for more than a few hours since the first week of school. It was strange. She was simply part of my life. She fit. I refused to think of my marriage to Isabella.

“Is a car coming for you or is your family?” I asked her after giving her two orgasms as a going away present.

“I didn’t ask,” she replied, her tone filled with gloom.

“Hey,” I said and curled my fingers over the back of her neck. “Why the sadness? We’ll survive two weeks.”

She looked at me, then wiped her eyes. I removed my hand and tipped her chin up.

“Talk to me.”

“It’s stupid. I’m jealous.”

That confused me. “Why would you be jealous?” I asked.

“Isabella, that’s why. You’ll be with her for two weeks and I’m jealous. I can’t help it and I don’t even want to feel this way but I do.”
